Hello, I’m Mel Lindsay, a registered marriage celebrant, and I’m thrilled to be part of your special journey. A true Brisbane girl at heart, I ventured into the serene beauty of the Northern Tablelands in New South Wales about 20 years ago. Here, in this welcoming and laid-back community, I share my life with my 16-year-old son, Benjamin, who is my greatest joy.

My love affair with weddings began during my tenure as a freelance professional make-up artist, under the moniker Make-up by Mel. Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing countless joyful moments with brides and their bridal parties, an experience that has only deepened my passion for love and celebration.

I am a firm believer in the universal right to happiness, love, respect, and acceptance. Love is a powerful force, and transitioning from a bridal make-up artist to a marriage celebrant was a natural progression for me. It allows me to express my unwavering belief in love, commitment, and family. Love is the thread that binds us all, whether it’s love for each other, love for life, or simply love for love itself.
